HISTORY OF THIS CLUB
The Stage Club at James Gillespies Primary School first launched in 2012 and is just about to go into its 16th year. The club has grown in mumbers each year as more enthusiatic P5-P7 stundents continue to join us! A little more about us below!
-
We work to put on a FULL SCALE production.
-
Our shows are current/fun/energetic with local references added in.
-
In rehearsals everyone will work together on DRAMA/SINGING/DANCING. We will hold auditions within the club to cast speaking parts, solo's, principal dancers - and make sure everyone plays a vital role in the success of the show.
-
STAGE CLUB will look to include the whole school and all cast families in some form - whether that's coming along to the performances, helping make props, running a raffle, chaperoning over the show week - the performing arts is about community and we want to create that at James Gillespie's.
